Help! New sidekick owner

Hi there..just got my 1st sidekick 3, and have no idea what I am doing! Can I not use my own pictures as backgrounds? How do I move stuff from computer to sk?

I'm not sure if I like the sk3...its so confusing, I am used to Blackberry...
please someone give me advice before I return the phone lol

Also.... is anyone else on here from Canada? I bought my sidekick3 unlocked...but it says its waiting on activation....this is very frusturating not having a phone
